The first edition of the National Meeting on Forensic Chemistry (1st ENQFor) was held in 2008. Since then, the Meeting has taken place every two years, organized by professors of the Department of Chemistry of Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras (Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters) of the University of São Paulo-Ribeirão Preto Campus. The first Brazilian undergraduate course in Forensic Chemistry was implemented at this same institution. The last edition of the event (4th ENQFor), which was supported by the Brazilian Society of Forensic Sciences, was held in 2014 and was attended by approximatey 500 participants. The 5th ENQFor will also be supported by the Brazilian Society of Forensic Sciences, which is composed by professionals and researchers in the area of Forensic Sciences.
From September 2nd to September 6th, the Second Meeting of the Brazilian Society of Forensic Sciences and the 5th ENQFor will happen simultaneously. The joint event will integrate professionals from various areas who work in the forensic field. The event aims to promote a discussion forum about the advances in Forensic Sciences. The Meeting will consist of conferences, lectures, coordinated sessions, technical lectures, workshops, mini-courses, equipment exhibits, trade fair, and presentation of posters, which will provide the participants with the opportunity to share their experience during conversations, discussions, and social gatherings taking place during the event.
We hope to see you at the 5th ENQFor so that we can promote Forensic Sciences in Brazil!!
